Japan will get the game a few days later on July 13.

The Zodiac Age, a remastered release of the 2006 PS2 game, will include the ‘Zodiac Job System’ introduced in a Japanese-only follow up to the original release, letting players take part in a 12-job character progression system.

It will also feature character models and movie scenes “fully remastered in high-definition”, plus newly-recorded background music, “high-definition voicing” and support for 7.1 surround sound. You’ll also have the option to switch between the original and newly remastered soundtrack.

In addition a new trial mode will let players battle against enemies “in up to 100 successive battles”. There’s also the usual new features like trophy support, auto-save and shortened loading times.
