FIFA 14 will be released October 4 in the UK, according to a listing on Game.co.uk.

GAME is listing both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions for this date.

EA has thus far only pointed to an autumn release date, but an earlier listing on Amazon.com placed the game’s release as September 24 in the US – a date which led to speculation of a September 27 debut in the UK.

This year’s game is said to focus on “the emotion of scoring great goals” and introduces a new ‘Pure Shot’ feature to offer players even greater control over their shots on goal, leading to goals that feel more satisfying and rewarding than ever before.

Retailers often list accurate release dates, but it’s probably best to wait for an official date from EA before booking October 4 off work.
