Microsoft has announced it has secured a twelve-month Xbox 360 exclusive period for both FIFA 07 and Pro Evolution Soccer 6. This applies to next-gen consoles only, though, so both titles will be available on current-gen platforms.
This is pretty massive news for Microsoft, and is essentially forcing gamers who want to play a next-gen football title during the course of the next year to buy an Xbox 360. FIFA 07 was officially announced for the Xbox 360 today, and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is at the Games Convention where it’s being shown off running on the Xbox 360 for the fist time. Both titles are expected to arrive later this year.
