Sony is to release a new battery charger for the PSP in Japan. The charger will reportedly reduce charge times, for a fully depleted battery, by 45 minutes. The new charger (PSP-190) should mean gamers can now fully recharge in around an hour and a half.
The charger is to be released on July 14th with a retail price of 3,500 yen (£18). There is currently no word on a higher capacity battery for the power hungry handheld.
