Forget the heavy hitters of the autumn 2013 video game line-up, Farming Simulator is making its debut on Xbox 360 and PS3 during the first week of September, Focus Home Interactive has announced.

Developed by Giants Software and based on the world-wide PC hit Farming Simulator 2013, the game sees players facing the challenges of a modern farmer: animal husbandry, crops, harvesting, sales of your products, and buying new vehicles and machines.

The home console version offers a whole new, North American environment, adding to the European environment already present from the PC edition.

This new play area – exclusively available for consoles – more than doubles the size of the game world.

New farming vehicles and other new features are also included.

Look out for Farming Simulator in stores from September 6, 2013.
