Future Far Cry games may feature vampires or a Jurassic Park-style setting, a questionnaire distributed by Ubisoft to Far Cry 4 players has revealed.
The questionnaire was passed on to Eurogamer by a number of players who received the document from Ubisoft.
Some of the out there ideas included a “Far Cry game where you can fight against or join vampires”, a “Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic world”, and a “Far Cry game set in the modern day on a Jurassic Park-style island with dinosaurs”.
All of which sound pretty good. A zombies-based game was also mentioned.
Real-world scenarios were also included, such as Peru and Alaska, alongside historical settings the Vietnam War and a story set in late 19th Century America for a Red Dead vibe.
Far Cry 3’s Blood Dragon is also an option for a sequel, as is a return to Far Cry 4’s Shangri-La.
Ubisoft questionnaires have often revealed what’s next from the publisher, so there’s every chance one of the ideas featured will make it into a game at some point in the future.
