The minimum and optimal PC system requirements for Far Cry 4 have been revealed by Ubisoft, and they’re not as high as we had expected.

Minimum requirements should be doable for the majority of PC gamers:

  • Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 (64bit versions only)
  • Intel Core i5-750 @ 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2 GHz
  • 4GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 (1GB VRAM)
  • DirectX 11
  • 30 GB available space
  • DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers

Even the requirements for optimal play don’t seem overly demanding for a game so visually impressive.

  • MS Windows 7 SP1, MS Windows 8/8.1 (64bit versions only)
  • Intel Core i5-2400S @ 2.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or better
  • 8GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X or better (2GB VRAM)
  • DirectX 11
  • 30 GB available space
  • DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers

Far Cry 4 launches November 18 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
