Fallout 4 is still going strong more than two years after its initial release thanks to a dedicated modding community, something which doesn't look set to stop anytime soon.
One of the latest mods to arrive on the scene is the winter-themed Northern Springs, which user 'Jshrapnelc' claims is bigger than both Far Harbor and Nuka World. It's in beta right now, though can be downloaded from the nexusmods page.
Northern Springs offers a wealth of new distractions for Bethesda's acclaimed post-apocalyptic RPG, including three new settlements to develop, four extra jobs to select, additional weapons and armour to loot, and 25 additional quests to tackle.
From the sounds of things it'll be quite a challenge though, as the modder recommends that players hit level 40 before making the journey.
The snow-covered location also presents a series of new threats to deal with, including one hulking foe that seems to doff its cap to the Abominable Snowman. Northern Springs also features full voice acting for everyone bar the main protagonist, although expect some teething issues given that it's still being tweaked.
Fallout 4 was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in October 2016. We thought it was basically more of the same, but that wasn't a bad thing at all.
