Fallout 4 developer Bethesda Game Studios is working on three projects different to anything the team has created before, director Todd Howard revealed at DICE in Las Vegas earlier this week.

Asked what Bethesda Game Studios specifically was working on, Howard said it’s Fallout 4 DLC first, then “three kinda longer-term projects we’re doing that are all – we’ll talk about them at a much future date, but they’re different than anything we’ve done before, while also being a Bethesda-style game, big and crazy – in many ways different than things we’ve done before”.

The studio has traditionally been a one game setup, and it was believed the team would move onto a new The Elder Scrolls title once Fallout 4 was done.

Whatever Bethesda Game Studios is working on, Howard obviously isn’t ready to talk about it, though some kind of announcement at E3 in June wouldn’t be a huge surprise.
