Bethesda will soon release patches for every version of Fallout 3, according to an admin on the publisher’s official forum. A community manager by the handle “Gstaff” confirmed the plans in a forum thread discussing issues affecting the PS3 release of the post-nuclear RPG.

“We are currently working on a patch for all three platforms,” wrote Gstaff. “When I’ve got more details, I’ll let everyone know.”

While Fallout 3 has been well-received, users have found the title to be a little buggy – and we’re not talking about the giant mutant ants, either. One problem with the PS3 version can see the player stuck at the start of the G.O.A.T. exam – a character creation test that takes place during the opening chapter.

Other problems across all platforms include suits of armour that disappear when you out them on the floor, and NPCS who clip through platforms and fall to their deaths.

A PC patch for the game was released earlier this month.
