Daily revenue from SOE’s superhero MMO DC Universe Online has gone up 700 per cent since its recent adoption of a free-to-play model.
SOE head Joh Smedley tweeted this new information, stating the revenue increase is split 47 per cent PC users and 53 per cent PS3 players.
He has also revealed over 85 per cent of daily log-ins are returning players.
The game officially allowed users to play for free in early November. The firm saw an immediate increase in users within days, with a burst of 120,000 new players.
