F1 2018 will be racing into stores this summer on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, Codemasters and Koch Media have announced.

The latest entry in the venerable high-speed franchise will arrive just in time for the weekend of the F1 2018 Belgian Grand Prix, which takes place on the iconic Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in late August.

Codemasters is keeping mum on key details right now, though promised to share new info soon. However, it has teased that F1 2018 will boast an expanded career mode, including the return of a 'highly requested feature.'

In addition, we're promised more classic vehicles based on user feedback, with 'other great enhancements' also on the cards. Again, more details will be shared at a later date.

'We were delighted by the reception that the highly-acclaimed F1 2017 game received, and are extremely excited to be able to further build on such a strong starting point with F1 2018,' said Codemasters' F1 Franchise Director, Paul Jeal.

F1 2018 will be released on August 24.
