Codemasters has announced that F1 2017 will be released on August 25 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pre-ordering the Day One edition will get you the McLaren MP4/4 from the 1988 season, but it will also be available as DLC at a later date.

This marks the first game since F1 2013 that includes classic cars from days past such as the Ferrari F2002, the Williams FW14B from 1992, as well as the aforementioned McLaren. These classic cars will be included in the F1 2017 career mode, as players will race in invitational events across the course of the season.

As well as these additions to career mode, there’s a brand new Championships mode, and all the other regular fare like time-trials and the ability to race online. Ooooh. Fancy.
