Developer TiGames and publisher Bilibili have released a new trailer to celebrate today’s launch of side-scrolling brawler F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch.

This self-styled Metroidvania game takes place in the world of Torch City. A place originally inhabited by animals, the city was forcibly taken over by the Machine Legion some six years before our story starts. Resistance fighter Rayton has been living in seclusion, until his friend his forcibly arrested. Coming out of his self-imposed exile, Rayton grabs his giant mechanical fist and swears vengeance on the machine regime.

Your fist can change from its default form to a Drill and a Whip. You’ll have to master all three as you make your way through the dieselpunk streets and beat down bots. We’re promised dozens of distinct enemies, each with their own weapons and attacks.  In addition, you’ll have to deal with fiendish puzzles and tricky platform mechanics too. There’s a bunch of secret rooms and rewards to find, and unique bosses to take down.

You can check out the trailer for yourself down below. F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch is out today on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. A PC version is also on the way, but no date has been given for that just yet.
