Nintendo of Europe has announced that Excitebike: World Challenge (World Rally in the US) will be released on the European WiiWare store on February 5, 2010.
Excitebike: World Challenge sticks to the classic Excitebike formula, in which racers use accelerate and turbo buttons to make it over the finish line first. Races take place on fictional tracks in locations including London, America, Japan and Mexico.
The game also features online support, allowing multiplayer racing over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection – there’s no single system split-screen mode though. World Challenge also features a level editor, allowing user created tracks to be created and shared over the internet.
