Evolve wins top honours at E3 Game Critics Awards

Evolve has officially been named the best game of E3 after picking up multiple Game Critics Awards, including the coveted Best of Show.

Turtle Rock’s multiplayer shooter was awarded top honours at the show, winning Best of Show, Best Online Multiplayer, Best Action Game and Best Console Game ahead of rival nominees Alien: Isolation, Batman: Arkham Knight and Destiny.

Meanwhile, Hello Games’ space exploration game No Man’s Sky picked up two awards for Best Original Game and Best Independent Game, and earned itself a Special Commendation for Innovation.

Best Hardware went to VR headset Oculus Rift, with further awards won by Rainbow Six Siege, NHL 15, Super Smash Bros., Batman: Arkham Knight, The Crew, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mario Maker and Civilization: Beyond Earth.
