Ubisoft has just announced what you, the consumer, will receive if you get the For Honor season pass, available to buy alongside the regular full game or as part and parcel of the Gold Edition.

Shelling out a little extra gets you the following:

  • Six new Heroes, available a full week before they’re released to everyone
  • Six ‘elite outfits’ to dress up and customise aforesaid Heroes
  • The Day One War Pack

The War Pack gives you a 30 day ‘Champion Status’ that gives you more XP for crafting, XP boosts to your mates, and addition loot at the end of matches; three scavenger crates that will let you unlock more gear; three exclusive emblem outlines; and an exclusive ‘sunbeam effect’ on emotes for all Heroes.

The War Pack is available immediately on release at February 14, but the Heroes and their Elite outfits will be released progressively two by two at the beginning of each new season of the Faction War. At launch For Honor will have 12 Heroes

Season Pass holders will also receive early access to ‘some elements’ of the game’s post-launch extras, which will include maps, modes and gear, but aside from that it’ll all be free to everyone, even the scrubs without a Season Pass. For Honor isn’t intended to be ‘pay to win’, but has an in-game currency, Steel, which you earn by completing matches and challenges.

For Honor will be running an open beta from February 9 to February 12, if you fancy a stab at it (that was a pun).

Ubisoft has also put out a trailer with a bit more — if still vague —  info on how the post launch content will work, which you can see below.

For Honor will launch February 14 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
