EverQuest II is set to have a double XP weekend starting July 29, in what is being called on the official website a “true double XP promotion (+100% XP).”
The bonus will apply to adventure, tradeskill, and alternate advancement experience. French, German, Japanese, Test and EQ2 Extended servers will also take part.
Double XP will start Friday at 12:01 am PDT and run until 11:59 pm PDT on Sunday, July 31.
The developers behind the MMO also have plans for the future of the game. Recently producer David Georgeson stated an intention to “seriously change the feel” of the game in the next expansion.
