CCP is in the process of shopping its sci-fi MMO EVE Online to both OnLive and Gaikai in order to expand its audience.

In doing so users can expect new kinds of experiences from the game, states CCP marketing head David Read in an interview with Eurogamer.

“We are in dialogue with both companies and others.

“We think it’s a really important way to not just play the core Eve Online gameplay – that you do play today principally on the PC and on the Mac — but also to add new sorts of experiences.”

What these experiences are comprised of has yet to be detailed in their specifics, however Reid suggests it could include a way of bringing EVE’s planetary interaction mechanics to tablets and mobile devices.

Reid has previously mentioned CCP’s ambitions for EVE Online to becoming the biggest game in the world in 2012.
