Lineage II: Goddess of Destruction will launch in Europe early December, publisher Innova has announced.
The MMO will be localised in a number of different languages throughout 2012.
Its upcoming expansion is the largest update ever introduced to the game, and includes new graphics, faster levelling, character advancement, eight new classes, alongside new weapons and armour.
This switch to free-to-play comes after seven years of subscriptions.
Lineage II is the prequel to the original Lineage MMO. It was released to North America in 2004.
