Epic Games’ MOBA Paragon will be released for PS4 and PC in 2016, the developer has announced. Xbox One hasn’t yet been confirmed as a release platform, but this was never going to happen given the announcement came at Sony’s PlayStation Experience 2015.

It remains to be seen if Xbox One will be announced at a later date.

Check out the first gameplay footage below.

Paragon is a 5v5 hero shooter in which players are in direct control over their hero, yet Epic promises to preserve what gamers lover about MOBAs. Paragon is not a hybrid, but a true MOBA, says Epic.

Cross-play between PC and PS4 has also been announced, with play on the PS4’s DualShock 4 said to have been in the developer’s mind from the off.

Furthermore, online testing will begin in January, with paid Early Access planned for the spring and an open beta in the summer. You can sign up to take part now.
