The second Warfront video featuring information on Trion’s upcoming MMO End of Nations has been released.
This week’s video announces an End of Nations miniseries coming from DC Comics, as well as a look into the actual scale of the game which features over 44 player maps.
End of Nations is said to be a real-time strategy game that includes the social features of an MMO. Unlike Trion Worlds’ more well-known title, Rift, it will be released as a free-to-play title.
The game is scheduled to release in 2012.
It will be interesting to see whether Trion will begin adopting free-to-play more seriously for games like Rift if End of Nations turns out to be a success.
