French developer Nova-Box has revealed post-climate apocalypse adventure End of Lines for PC and Nintendo Switch later in 2022.
Described as an “interactive graphic novel” the game tells the story of a family of survivors following a climate-based apocalypse. The family in question includes characters Camille, Nora, their son Sam and their ‘Uncle’ Rafik. At the start of the story the family lose everything, forced to wander the devastated countryside of Southern Europe to find a new home to settle down in.
It’ll be up to your to manage the supplies and morale of your group as they try and survive. However, the ruthless environment won’t make it easy, with death around every corner. We’re told all choices will matter and will have a consequence. You’ll meet plenty of other characters along the way, with hundreds of hand-drawn illustrations colouring your adventure. The team also promise us a “powerful story featuring wonderfully written characters, stunning visuals, and a beautiful original soundtrack” to boot.
You can check out the game’s debut trailer for yourself down below. The game doesn’t have a specific release date just yet, but End of Lines will arrive on Nintendo Switch and PC at some point in 2022.
