Romero Games and Paradox Interactive unveiled its new strategy game, Empire of Sin, during the E3 Nintendo Direct that took place yesterday evening.

Here's what the official website says on the game: 'Set in the golden years (1920s Chicago), the game has players build their own ruthless criminal empire as one of 14 distinct bosses vying to run the seedy underworld of organized crime in the city. With randomly generated starting conditions, players will have to adapt to survive and do whatever it takes to outsmart, out-gun and outlast their opponents.'

When another gang tries to move in on your turf, you can quieten them via turn-based combat. By the sounds of it, though, you can  see to it that things never come to blows by either bribing cops or making alliances with other organisations.

You'll be able to play the game on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch at some stage, next year. Until then, you can have a look at the trailer below for a better idea of what you can expect.
