Former Elder Scrolls Online beta players will be given complete access to the MMO this weekend, Bethesda has announced.

Starting at 3pm BST this Thursday, April 16 through to 3pm Monday, April 20, those who participated in last year’s beta but did not purchase the full game will be able to download the title and play through the entirety of Tamriel Unlimited, including all six of the game’s major updates.

The free weekend follows shortly after the game dropped its subscription fee last month, providing players with complete access to the game following an initial purchase.

Meanwhile, a PS4 and Xbox One beta is also “coming up fast”, according to an alleged email from Bethesda.

As reported by Worlds Factory, the email apparently thanks fans for “signing up for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Console Beta” and asks them to complete a survey to confirm their platform and location. Bethesda has yet to formally announce timings and details on a console beta.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited launches on PS4 and Xbox One on June 9.
