Bethesda Game Studios is working on a ‘Bleeding-Edge AAA freemium’ game, according to a recent job listing on the ZeniMax website. To achieve this aim, they are specifically looking for a Game Performance Manager.

ZeniMax is Bethesda’s parent company. This posting does not seem to be related to their ‘other’ mobile gaming projects, and looks like it is the first project from the new Montreal studio.

It is worth noting that they are specifically looking for someone who will focus on the following aspects of the game (namely money):

  • Work with the game design team on monetisation design, strategy and implementation;
  • Provide recommendations for game content and business models;
  • Define requirements and create specifications for monetisation features.

It also helps if you have a ‘minimum 5 years experience in supporting AAA products. That would do quite nicely. So if you have the games industry repertoire and a monetary speciality as required, give it a shot… why not?

There is more on the job listing itself here.
