Elden Ring Nightreign is off to a fantastic start, especially now that Duos is finally playable within the multiplayer Soulslike. While fans wait for more content to drop, a huge datamining leak has revealed a tonne of new content in the works.

Elden Ring Nightreign leaks

Following the release of the 1.02 update, dataminers have cracked Elden Ring Nightreign open to discover new modes coming to the multiplayer game.

The most important leak is the arrival of a brand-new game mode: Deep of Night. Found in the game files, this new mode is an endless run that will continually spawn enemies with increasing difficulty for you to push through.

“Targets cannot be chosen, and difficulty increases with depth. Victory increases your rating, allowing you to proceed unto ever greater depths,” the description reads. “The boundless dark stretches out unto infinity.”

This mode is seemingly coming alongside a new skill-based matchmaking system that will tie into a new ranking system. As you play, your rank will increase based on a number of factors. This ranking system seems to be tied to the Deep of Night mode, allowing you to randomly team up with players on your skill level to keep diving deeper.

According to the leakers, Deep of Night will have five “Depths” that each have a rating of 999. Reaching the top rank, rank 5, will give you a ranking of 6,000+, and you can’t be demoted to a previous rank once you hit it.

Players have compared this to the ranking system of Armoured Core 6 with some warning others to not push for higher ranks as their difficulty will stay high and casual matches will be nonexistent.

There’s no word on how long it’ll take for these new modes to come out, but it does seem that they’re quite far along. With more bosses and enemies also in the works, there’s a tonne of content coming to the multiplayer game.
