Earthfall, the upcoming cooperative-flavoured alien blaster from developer Holospark, will launch on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One this summer.

There's not an awful lot to explain about Earthfall. The Pacific Northwest is under attack from alien invaders, and it's down to you and a bunch of teammates to put a stop to the threat by mowing them down with heavy weapons backed up by squad tactics.

Earthfall packs in ten missions spread across two campaigns, where you'll fortify holdouts while completing mission objectives and laying waste to hordes of drones and hulking, intergalactic nasties.

The game will be released digitally and at retail from July 13, with Gearbox handling publishing duties for the physical release.

'We are excited to bring Earthfall to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on July 13. By partnering with Gearbox Publishing on a physical release, even more fans will be able to get their hands on Earthfall on launch day,' commented Holospark boss, Russell Williams.

'We’ve been hard at work on Earthfall since it first launched in Early Access last year, and we’re really proud of what the game has become. Our thanks to everyone that played Earthfall and shared their feedback, whether that was on Steam or in-person. You’ve helped make the game what is it today.'
