EA was comfortably the UK’s No.1 physical games publisher of 2012, based on data provided by GfK Chart-Track.
The publisher released a host of major titles in 2012, including FIFA 13, Mass Effect 3, Need for Speed Most Wanted, plus enjoyed continued strong sales of FIFA 12 and Battlefield 3.
Activision claimed second spot, largely thanks to Call of Duty titles and Skylanders. Ubisoft took third, Nintendo was the top first-party at No.4, and Microsoft claimed fifth.
SEGA came in at No.6, followed by Warner Bros., Take-Two, THQ and Square Enix. Sony is missing from the Top 10.
