With both major handhelds awash with intelligence testing games, and Buzz! an established success on the PS2, it is no surprise that a quiz game has today been announced for the Wii.
EA’s unnamed project, released under the company’s newly formed Casual Entertainment label, will use various motion sensitive inputs from the Wii remote throughout its rounds, including ‘tug-of-war’ for answers, or dance-offs for additional points.
An ability to tailor questions to a player’s age, and the game’s focus on getting players on their feet, should make the release a sure-fire hit with families and groups wanting to compete on a level-playing field and get active. The game should be out later this year in the States, though a European release date is unconfirmed.
