EA Sports PGA Tour performance mode

As part of the latest update in the game, EA Sports PGA Tour performance mode is now available. The new feature is available to players using PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, offering them the choice between performance mode and quality mode.

Quality mode is the existing game. This mode provides the highest quality graphics and runs at 30 frames per second (FPS). EA Sports PGA Tour offers all the stunning visuals of some of golf’s greatest courses, so you may not want to stray from quality mode if that is your want.

Performance mode is EA’s brand-new rendering mode. The 60 FPS offers a much smoother camera motion and animation, but this does come at the expense of lower resolution and visual fidelity.

While there is not a vast difference in visual quality, it is noticeable. Ultimately this setting comes down to personal preference, so it is worth toggling it on and off in the visual settings screen to see what you prefer.
