Activision chief Bobby Kotick was forbidden from getting a hands-on playtest of EA’s forthcoming Modern Warfare rival, Battlefield 3, CVG reports.
Kotick’s PA tried to arrange access to the game with EA reps, but after consulting senior management the request was rejected. “It would not be possible,” Kotick’s PA was told.
It’s then claimed that the PA looked decidedly unhappy at the refusal, presumably as she had to then inform a spurned Kotick of the bad news.
EA’s Battlefield 3 hits stores October 28 and Modern Warfare 3 releases weeks later on November 8.
