EA has announced My Garden, an all-new game for Nintendo 3DS in which players become an expert gardener.

From EA Play Label, My Garden will feature six garden environments, including Brook, Desert, and Jungle, and 300 collectable plants which attract special visitors such as birds, butterflies, and other creatures to your garden.

Helping players in their task of becoming an expert gardener is Tanuki, a cute and lovable guide character. Tanuki has many powers, each with a unique ability to bring magic to your garden and help it thrive.

“With My Garden, our aim was simple: to make something beautiful that comes to life on the Nintendo 3DS like no other platform,” said Rod Humble, executive vice president of the EA Play Label. “We hope to offer a game that’s so immersive that it truly brings the delight of owning a garden to life through a visually stunning 3D experience.”

Once the garden is designed players are able to walk around the garden taking pictures, unlocking new, exotic flowers and items. Players will also be able to use the 3DS microphone to whistle specialised bird calls.

The game will launch worldwide alongside the Nintendo 3DS.
