BioWare has revealed that should the demo for Dragon Age II accumulate one million downloads or more as of March 1, two in-game items will be unlocked for use in the full game.

The promised items are poetry books: The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall and Lothering’s Lament. Far Cliffs of Kirkwall gets you extra cash, while Lothering’s Lament provides an XP boost.

Downloads of the demo on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC count towards the total and remember to log into your EA account while playing to log the download.

EA tried something similar with NFS Hot Pursuit, offering some free DLC when a trailer reached one million views on YouTube. However, the target view count wasn’t reached and EA still handed out the three convertibles.

We don’t expect Dragon Age II to suffer the same embarrassment.
