The majority of the games industry is still recovering from the bombshell EA dropped when they agreed an exclusive deal with the NFL, thus preventing rival game ESPN NFL from being able to compete on a level playing field. Well, things have just got worse for Sega.

EA has announced that they have signed a fifteen year exclusivity deal with ESPN for all EA sports products on PC and console platforms. The deal comes into play during the 2006 calendar year, giving Sega and Visual Concepts one more game using the brand.
