A new website for fantasy-themed MOBA title Dawngate has launched, revealing EA as the publisher with Waystone Games handling development.
The website was spotted by Superannuation, presumably earlier than EA had hoped as the linked Twitch, Twitter and YouTube accounts are yet to be made public.
“Dawngate is a new MOBA,” the website reads, “Built from the ground up to look and feel familiar while offering a whole new way to experience MOBA gameplay. Dawngate empowers you to forge the champions you love for the roles you want in a competitive arena, shaped by ever-evolving, community-driven content and story.”
So who is Waystone Games? Superannuation suggests Dawngate is the MOBA revealed by job listings last year and that the Visceral free-to-play team in charge has been re-branded Waystone Games.
It shouldn’t be too long before we get to see more on Dawngate, with the website offering beta sign-ups.
