Although we’ve already had a little play with EA FC 25, an upcoming gameplay deep dive is going to illuminate on all of the features we’ve not yet had a go with. Scheduled for July 25th, we’re going to get a first look at plenty of new features.
With over 19,000 players included in FC 25 across 700 different teams – your first opportunity to take a deep dive is going to go live tomorrow at 4PM BST.
This includes FC IQ, Player Roles, Goalkeeper PlayStyles, and other new features. One of the main new inclusions that we’re keen to find out more about is the Rush mode, which replaced the now retired Volta mode. This caused a slight stir with some fans who had grown close to the street-football mode first introduced in FIFA 20, before suddenly being phased out in place of a fairly similar five-a-side mode.
With FC 25 releasing on September 27th, we’re going to be relying on this Gameplay Deep Dive to illuminate many of the existing concerns with the game. With this version of the game introducing much more tactical playstyles (which our preview has justly approved as a key positive feature), this opportunity is going to one of the final decision makers for prospective players.
Just last week, we saw Jude Bellingham announced as the cover-star on FC 25. Now youngest player on the cover of EA FC or a FIFA game, his presence certainly suggests that this iteration of the game is going to be defined by innovation for the first time in a while.
