Everyone had pretty much assumed that the Nintendo Revolution would be revealed at E3 this year, but it appears that that might not be the case. CVG is reporting that Satoru Iwata has decided against showing the new console over fears that competitors will steal the ‘revolutionary’ ideas that are behind the new console and its controller.

It isn’t all bad news though; rolling demos of Revolution games are still expected to be shown. The main focus of Nintendo’s E3 presence will be Nintendo Online (or Noline as they like to call it). A number of online enabled DS titles are expected to be shown and the service is set to be revealed. Of course, The Legend of Zelda will also be a big crowd pleaser, but will it be enough to win over fans? We’ll find out soon enough as the Nintendo pre-E3 conference takes place on May 17th.
