This year’s E3 will be Avalanche Studios’ “biggest” since it revealed the original Just Cause back in 2005, the studio has told VideoGamer.com.

While discussing the reaction to Xbox One, Avalanche boss Christofer Sundberg teased the firm’s plans for E3, revealing “E3 2013 will be the biggest E3 for Avalanche Studios since we showed Just Cause back in 2005, but we can’t say much more than that.”

Avalanche is rumoured to be working on multiple titles, including an open-world title set in the Mad Max universe and Just Cause 3.

The studio’s last major title Just Cause 2 launched in 2010, and was followed by downloadable explode ’em up Renegade Ops in 2011.

The developer was also working on a sandbox steampunk game, but put the project “on ice” to focus on other titles.
