Koei Tecmo has released Dynasty Warriors 9 update 1.03, adding a bunch of key fixes for the open-world button mashing sequel.Â
One of the key additions this patch brings is improvements to the frame rate for the PS4 version of the game, as well as adding a ‘Graphics’ setting that allows users to stabalise the frame rate for other systems outside of PS4 Pro.
Elsewhere, update 1.03 also stomps down on some minor issues with the game (though it wasn’t specified what they are), as well as adding ‘corrections that prevented an issue in which the ending movie not be played and clearing the game was impossible during the endings for some officers.’
Dynasty Warriors 9 is out now for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, and takes the series into open-world territory for the first time. Despite its ambitions, Alice thought the game wasn’t quite the series reinvention it could have been, with the open-world setting in particular bringing with it some notable issues.
