Dynasty Warriors has sold millions of copies worldwide and for the first time the game will be making its way onto PC, with the European release of Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper scheduled for December 9th. The game will contain all the features of the PlayStation 2 version including over 40 playable characters, each with their own unique fighting styles. There are over 50 stages across 17 unique maps which are all based on historical locations.
The PC version of the game will be able to offer a “much more striking visual experience” by taking advantage of higher screen resolution to allow twice as many on screen characters, double the draw distance of previous versions, anti aliasing, texture filtering, dynamic shadows and much improved enemy AI.
“We are delighted to be able to bring the Dynasty Warriors experience to a whole new audience and we look forward to them enjoying Dynasty Warriors just as much as the legions of fans already out there,” said David Hope, General Manager of KOEI Ltd.
