Nintendo Japan has revealed three new colours for its DSi LL (XL in the UK), along with a new lower price point.
Set for release on June 19 are Yellow, Blue and Green versions of its larger DSi handheld, complete with a lower price point – ¥20,000 down to ¥18,000. Alongside the DSi LL price drop are similar reductions for the standard DSi and DS Lite.
There’s no word on whether or not the new colours and lower price points will eventually appear outside of the Japanese market.
With Nintendo set to unveil its 3DS handheld at E3, the platform holder could be giving its DS range one last push before the new system is introduced.
