Two versions of the latest Pokèmon game were released – Pokèmon: Fushigi no Dungeon Blue for the DS and Pokèmon: Fushigi no Dungeon Red for the GBA. The games are designed to link up and when both are inserted into the DS, allowing the user to play the DS version of the game with the GBA version’s game data. The problem arises when a GBA game other than Pokèmon: Fushigi no Dungeon Red is present, with the possibility of the cart’s save data being wiped.

For the time being anyone with the early release of Pokèmon: Fushigi no Dungeon Blue for the DS should make sure they play with the GBA slot empty, unless the cart is Pokèmon: Fushigi no Dungeon Red. Nintendo will replace any faulty version of Pokèmon: Fushigi no Dungeon Blue with a much happier, less destructive version for free. Consumers can apply for a replacement on Nintendo’s official website. You may, however, be out of luck if you have imported the game. The new version will begin shipping on December 8.
