Nintendo has started to test its Nintendo DS download service in Japan. A number of kiosks all over the country allow gamers to wirelessly download demos and bonus content to their DS consoles. The trial will run until March 21st 2005.

It is believed that any downloaded demos will be removed from each system once they are powered down, but bonus content can be stored permanently. What demos and bonus content is available hasn’t been revealed, but Nintendo are bound to announced details of their North American and European plans at E3 in May.
