Driver: San Francisco, Ubisoft’s first entry in the Driver franchise on Xbox 360 and PS3, will be released in September 2011, the publisher has revealed.
Originally planned for release in winter 2010, Ubisoft pushed the game back to Q1 2011 before later announcing another delay to ensure it could deliver an “outstanding game”.
Driver: San Francisco is a peculiar title, with events unfolding from within the mind of a comatose John Tanner, left in this state following events of Driver 3. This bizarre set-up makes it possible for players to shift into the body of other drivers in the game.
