Japan is being added to DriveClub for free later this month, Evolution has confirmed.
The previously-leaked DLC will be included in a free update rolling out to all users later this month and include a variety of additional courses set within the country.
Evolution released a video showing one of the new tracks, Nakasendo, in action last night.
“[Nakasendo is] an epic point-to-point drive offering plenty of wide open sections for high speed overtaking and looooong switchbacks where you can get your drift on,” said the developer.
“Along with our own research and gameplay data analysis, your input has been a big help in shaping all of the tracks we’re developing for Japan. Especially the many, many requests for an epic point-to-point like this and for wider tracks to make fighting for position less frustrating, particularly in online races.”
Additional cars, including the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Centennial Edition, will also be available as part of an upcoming expansion pack.
Sony reduced the price of DriveClub’s PS Plus Upgrade to £19.99 yesterday, offering the full game to PS Plus owners at almost half the usual price.
I also went back and re-reviewed DriveClub earlier in the day, and after months of trouble found that the vast majority of its launch issues had finally been fixed.
