DriveClub’s weather update “is still in development and will be ready to launch later this year”, Evolution Studios has confirmed, with another look at the feature “in action” due to be revealed soon.
Confirmation follows uncertainty over whether the update would still make it out this year after the developer was forced to focus resources on fixing DriveClub’s ongoing server troubles.
DriveClub has faced an uphill struggle with its online component since launch, with one of its main features – Challenges – still unavailable six weeks after release. The release of the PlayStation Plus Edition has also been put on hold.
The latest title update for DriveClub rolled out earlier this week introducing a new Photo Mode, three new tracks and tweaks to the game’s cornering/collision penalties.
