Sony has announced that it will be closing servers for DriveClub in late March 2020, nearly five years after the Evolution Studios-developed racer launched for PlayStation 4.

In addition to closing the game's servers, all of DriveClub's content will be delisted from the PlayStation Network in August of this year. It should be noted you can still play DriveClub offline after the servers close up shop, as the single-player offering is still pretty meaty, which is just as well.

Naturally, the closing of the game's servers will also impact DriveClub VR and DriveClub Bikes. Better make the most of the next year, eh?

Evolution Studios launched DriveClub in October 2014 after numerous delays, although the company itself was shut down by Sony some two years later. DriveClub was a pretty big success all the same, selling over two million copies globally by August 2015.
