Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, the latest entry in the much-loved Japanese role-playing game franchise, will launch in the US and UK for PlayStation 4 and PC on September 4, Square Enix has announced.

The western release of the game will include a heap of bonus features not seen in the original Japanese version, such as English dialogue, a new hard mode (Draconian Quest), beefed up character and camera movement, plus a revamped user interface and menus.

In addition, Square Enix will be offering PS4 pre-order customers an exclusive theme and a host of downloadable content goodies, such as the Vest for Success, Seed of Skill, and Uber Agate of Evolution items.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age was released in Japan last summer and will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch at a later date. Check out the latest trailer for the highly anticipated JRPG below.
