Over the weekend Bandai Namco and Arc System Works announced that Trunks would be joining the line-up for Dragon Ball FighterZ. It seems Bandai Namco isn’t done yet.  As revealed in the latest issue of V-Jump magazine (via ryokutya2089), Krillin and Piccolo have now been confirmed to be joining the ever-growing cast of fighters.

Joining a lineup that already includes Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Cell, Frieza, Majin Buu and now Trunks, Krillin comes with his Kienzan (Destructo Disc here) ability, which when powered-up is unblockable. That’ll be pretty handy when setting off some combos. Piccolo can extend his arms to grab his opponent, and can also can fire a Ki blast. This is even deadlier when used following a combo attack.

Other details confirmed from the magazine are that the game will have a similar online lobby to that of Guilty Gear Xrd. In the lobby, you’ll see little chibi characters wandering around. In Dragon Ball FighterZ these little chibi characters can fight one another, which sounds quite cute and amusing at the same time.

Also announced at Evo 2017 was a closed beta for the game, with signups beginning on July 26. More details on the closed beta will be revealed shortly, said publisher Bandai Namco.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released in early 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One
